The magnetic holder is not strong enough – what am I doing wrong?
We use industrial magnets with a strong hold. If your magnetic holder drops easily, it may be because you have received the wrong version for your sink.
Important: For composite sinks and sinks thicker than 7 mm, you must choose the correct version for your special sink.
Our magnetic dish cloth holders come in two versions:
CLASSIC version:
This version requires adding a small counter magnet on the back of your sink. Make sure the magnet is securely attached.
UNIVERSAL version:
This version works on all sinks and surfaces. The self-adhesive metal plate must be placed inside the sink, and the magnetic holder clicks directly onto it. If it is not working for you, something may be wrong.
I have lost a counter magnet – can I get a new one?
The counter magnets are small but very strong. Sometimes they can stick to a screw or other object under the sink.
They are designed with a tail shape to make them easy to retrieve, even if you can’t see them. If you lose a counter magnet, you can always order a replacement.
Tip: The tail is intended to help you fasten the magnet securely with the included stickers, ensuring it stays in place even when you remove and reattach the holder.
The stickers to secure the counter magnets do not work
Some sinks have a very rough back surface where the sticker may not stick properly. In this case, we recommend using duct tape or another type of strong adhesive.
Can I wash the magnetic holder in the dishwasher?
No. The magnets are not rust-free and are covered with a protective layer. Dishwasher use may damage the layer, causing the magnets to rust.
Why does the metal plate not stick to the wall?
Our metal plates come with strong 3M adhesive suitable for most surfaces.
It is important that the surface is completely clean and dry before applying the plate. Thoroughly clean the surface and wait a few hours for it to dry completely before placing the metal plate. You can also order replacements.
What is the lifespan of the magnetic holder?
We provide a 2-year warranty. The holder is designed for kitchen use, but lifespan can vary depending on the impacts and shocks it is exposed to. Typical use allows for 2–7 years, depending on how the holder is handled.
